Slice The Pie Latest Review

It’s not the sort of thing I’d usually review, but someone who I deal with on another online platform asked me to have a look at it and give my opinion Slice The Pie. so here goes………..

Slice The Pie is free to join and enables you to view specific branded videos, listen to music and give your opinions on different types of fashion. There is a minimum requirement for each task before they can deposit a small amount to your account.

There are basically four categories to choose from in the main platform and from there you can choose which one best suits you. I personally found that, the branding section with You Tube videos of the main tea companies in the UK paid the best at a whopping 15 to 20 cents 🙁

  • Music
  • Branding
  • Fashion
  • Lucky Dip

How much do you get paid for each task?

There are two things that determine how much you get paid. The first thing is what it is you’re reviewing and how many stars you have. The average is between 10 and 20 cents per review and the star rating starts at 1 and goes up to 5.

I’ve been working out how much you could expect to get per hour based on using all of their categories and giving honest reviews. Based on my own experience to date and having two stars I made just over two dollars for roughly 45 minutes of my time, so that would equate to roughly $2.65 per hour or £2.05.

Now, if you value your time and based on the above figures you wouldn’t be in a rush to get involved, but as a top up to your income or if you really need the extra money then, perhaps you would consider this. Even if you used this platform for 8 hours per day over 5 days then, you’d only make about £82 and you’d be demented!

Why would you want to work for much less than the minimum wage?

  • Free to join
  • Easy to use
  • Common review products
  • They use Paypal

  • Poor rewards
  • $10+ withdrawal amount
  • 5 days wait for money

There are various reasons why someone may want to join up due to it being free, an easy to use platform and recognizable brands to review, but surely the amount of time spent and the rewards on offer must be a big drawback? Coupled with the fact that you need to have at least $10 in the account before you can cash-out and then wait a further 5 days for it to clear.
