About Me

Hello there and thanks for visiting my personal page and hopefully giving you more of an idea of who I am. My name is Mark Boyle, I’m 48 years old 🙁 and live in a coastal town on the north east of England. If you’ve watched any of my review videos then, you’ll know I’m not originally from there, as I was born and brought up in Glasgow 🙂

I sort of got in to online marketing by accident, as I left my job of being a partsman in the automotive trade to be an independent trader. Basically buying and selling movement (spreadbetting) in stocks, commodities, currencies and the like, but realised after a few months that it wasn’t for me, as it didn’t suit my personality and I didn’t have the stomach for the trading fluctuations.

Fast forward a few months to July 2008 and this is were I started my online marketing journey, as I needed to leave the trading game for my own sanity and when my balance started to go southwards! I came across a guy called Jonathan Street who basically showed me how to find excellent affiliate products and services, how to build an email list, how to use an auto responder, how to set up your own website using basic HTML and how to write your own eBook and sell it using platforms like Clickbank and Paydotcom. Some of these things are old rope now, but a few years ago these were invaluable to me and helped me get a few early affiliate sales and also produce my own horse racing products which done really well. I don’t know if this was down to any of my own skills or just luck?

The key thing I did and what anyone should do is to take action, as time does really fly past and days soon become weeks and in turn years. I remember when I was 30 and saying to a couple of folk I wanted to become financially comfortable, but they sort of said that won’t happen with a motor trade wage. Yes, they were right and that’s why I took the necessary steps and boy am I glad I done that 🙂

Yes, working from home can be lonely at times and it does require you to have discipline. You’ve got to look upon it as a real business, treat it with the respect it deserves and ignore any negative comments you may get from family and friends (they’re inevitable). Even in today’s competitive online marketplace, there are still many ways in which you can make serious amounts of money from the comfort of your own home.

There are a few things you do need to do in order to give it a chance :-

  • Understand the marketplace you’re in
  • Optimise each product or service you’re promoting
  • Discipline yourself on a specific amount of working hours
  • Give yourself the time to succeed
  • Rinse and repeat what works well for you

Most of the things in this niche are understandable if you apply common-sense and if you take a good approach in everything you do online then, it will eventually pay dividends. The trick is to give yourself enough time to find out what works for you and what doesn’t, sticking with the 10 or 20% of things that give you an income and eliminating the rest.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you all the best with your online endeavours.

Mark Boyle
